Step one: Sell off as much as possible (for seemingly ridiculously low prices!!! 'What?! You're not giving it away for FREE??!)
Step two: Pack only what is needed into uniform sized boxes.
Step three: Throw out anything that is unwanted, broken, or no longer needed, that cannot be sold.
Step four: Repeat until everything is packed.
With Brexit looming large, we decided that our plans of living in Europe couldn't be put off any longer. Whilst we have been planning this for quite some time now, this seems like the best time for us to go see the world. We would like our children to grow up knowing that they are not constrained by the borders of this, or any other country, and they are free to travel and see the world. .... But perhaps not on their own just yet - they still have a bit more growing up to do.
What then, does one need for an adventure? Well, a caravan of course!! So we collected one yesterday. She's pre-loved, but has all the features that we need.
Bunk beds for the kids, lots of storage for all the 'stuff' we need to take, and a working shower and toilet! I envisage many hours of adventures with Bessie Bordeaux. Uh, yes, we named her. Because - why not?! She needs a clean and some minor repairs. Nothing major. Now, just to go finish packing up - fitting 5 litres into a 1 litre pot! Oh and the cleaning!! URGH! NOT my favourite thing about moving! GRR. But needs doing.
Wish me luck!
